Camera Systems are the main method of protection from animatronics in the Five Nights at Freddy's franchise, excluding Five Nights at Freddy's 4. They allow the player to monitor the animatronics and keep track of their movements, thus giving the player an advantage as to knowing where the animatronics are at any given moment.
While you're playing the game, you will notice several cameras scattered around the establishment. The cameras are mentioned throughout the nights and are used during the Fake Ending. The camera systems are also used to keep track of the animatronics during the Custom Night Presets. There are also cameras positioned in the Primary Control Module, the Scooping Room, and Circus Control, but the cameras seem to have no use.
Location of The Cameras
- Private Room
- Primary Control Module
- Scooping Room
- Circus Control
- Surprisingly, Ennard is the only animatronic that has multiple positions on several cameras. This is unusual, due to most Five Nights at Freddy's games having multiple animatronics that only have one position on multiple cameras.
- The cameras in the Primary Control Module, Scooping Room and Circus Control seem to be useless, as they are not featured on any of the Private Room cameras. However, it is possible these cameras are linked to the (unknown) Monitoring Rooms around the establishment.
